Satellite fault at Scott Base

*Update* This has issue has now been resolved. Phone and email access at Scott Base has been restored

A fibre fault in Auckland is affecting public phone and email access at Scott Base.

The Scott Base Communications Satellite links through the faulty Spark fibre, which is also affecting parts of Auckland.

Spark is working on the fault, but until the issue is fixed, there is no public phone or internet access (including email) to Scott Base.

The website will be updated as soon as public communications are back up and running.
